This year, Digital Garden Newmont Éléonore offers a new way to experience the FME! Come to the Hub Desjardins for never-before-seen digital art performances. Discover a FME 360 experience in an immersive room where time and space become blurred, and let yourself be surprised by the Noranda en Couleurs ambulatory experience that will move to the rhythm of our mobile Mapping tricycle!

The Digital Garden is presented by Newmont Éléonore and produced with the support of UQAT’s Creation and New Media program.

Morpho is an audiovisual performance where electronic music and scenography combine to create a unique universe. Let yourself be guided by Morpho’s original compositions, which explore different styles revolving around techno. From ethereal melodies to powerful, hypnotic rhythms, each track takes you on an intense musical journey. Immerse yourself in an immersive scenography where the boundaries between reality and illusion dissolve in a symphony of music and light.

Photo Exp Immersive

Discover total immersion in the thematic universe of the 2024 edition of the Festival de musique émergente (FME) with our new immersive experience. Located in the Agora des Arts studio, this installation combines an enveloping soundscape with innovative mirror projections to create a unique and captivating atmosphere.

Features :
Soundscape: A specially designed soundtrack envelops you, synchronized with the projections for a harmonious sensory experience.
Mirror projections: Using sophisticated rear-projection techniques and visual effects, the mirrors reflect and amplify the projected images, transforming the space into a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
FME 2024 theme: Each element of the experience is inspired by this year’s theme, creating a strong link with the rest of the festival and offering visitors an artistic interpretation of this theme.

Noranda en Couleurs

Photo Mapping MobilePhoto Mapping MobileImmerse yourself in a unique visual experience with our Mobile Projection Mapping Tricycle. This innovative project will criss-cross the backstreets of Old Noranda during the Festival de musique émergente (FME), transforming the district’s structures and vegetation into a veritable canvas of digital art.

The tricycle, equipped with state-of-the-art projection mapping technology, will animate walls, trees and urban surfaces with dynamic, immersive projections. Every corner of the neighborhood will come to life under sets of lights and patterns created especially for the event, offering spectators a moving experience where art and technology meet.

Features :
Mobility: The tricycle will move freely, exploring various areas of Old Noranda, to surprise and amaze audiences at every turn.
Interactivity: Projections will adapt in real time to the surfaces encountered, integrating the surrounding architecture and nature.
Sustainability: By using existing structures as a canvas, the project minimizes its ecological footprint while maximizing visual impact.

Route: The tricycle will wind its way through the narrow streets and key points of Old Noranda, offering festival-goers unexpected moments of discovery.

This year, we’re honored to welcome Dominique Berthet, professor at the University of Fort-de-France, who will present the latest issue of his journal “Recherches en Esthétique”, on the theme of theme of Shock! The round table, moderated by Jean-Ambroise Vesac, promises to be an enriching experience. Don’t miss this great opportunity to broaden your horizons!
