The cashless service is completely free. All festival-goers can pick up their FME Cashless Bracelet at the physical box office located at Hub Desjardins (37, 7e rue).

Using the Cashless system

Activation

All festival-goers can pick up their FME chip wristbands at the physical box office located at Hub Desjardins (37, 7e rue) by presenting their passport or individual ticket. These same wristbands are equipped with a chip on which you can recharge a cash amount. When creating your Cashless account, you will be asked for the code located on the back of your FME bracelet.

Crediting / recharging your bracelet

You have several options for topping up your account:

  • Access your account on our website or app and recharge it instantly.
  • Visit one of the festival charging stations.

Check your balance and usage history

Through the Cashless area of the mobile app or festival website, or at any official FME kiosk.

Loss or theft of your Cashless bracelet

In this case, you can perform an authentication operation via the application or the recharging station to remotely block your bracelet.

Refund

If you haven’t used all your credit during the festival, you can request a refund of the balance from your online account. Refund requests are open from Monday, September 2 at 6:00 am to Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm. After this date, the money will be reinvested in the festival to maintain the wide range of free concerts offered by the FME.

FAQ – Cashless bracelet

What is the Cashless bracelet?

The Cashless bracelet is a dematerialized payment solution used at the FME using your festival passport. Your money is credited to an account associated with the bracelet, allowing you to make quick and easy transactions at the official FME bars and at the FME merchandise kiosk.

Why create an account?

To optimize their use, all Cashless wristbands can be associated with a personal account that will enable you to:

  • Top up your account before and during the festival via our website.
  • Register your credit card for faster recharging.
  • View your account balance and transaction history.
  • Block your wristband in the event of loss or theft, and obtain a new one.
  • Request a refund of your account balance at the end of the festival.

Creating an account is not compulsory for individual ticket holders, but is recommended in order to take full advantage of the dematerialized payment service.

How do I use my bracelet during the festival?

To make a payment, simply present your bracelet to the kiosk volunteer and the transaction will be completed in seconds. You can check your available credit before each order, and view your transaction history on your online account.
