The FME’s mission is to encourage the spread of original music and to contribute to the broader exposure of Canadian bands both nationally and internationally.
Goals
- To encourage exchanges among emerging music artists and enthusiasts, both Canadian and international;
- To be a regional economic engine of Abitibi-Témiscamingue;
- To invigorate and provide original entertainment for young people in the region;
- To help maintain a rich and healthy social scene.
